Just the two of us and well, a few others

Well, why not! That's what I said to myself as I sat reading Amanda & Rob's and Erik & Akleema's...why not have one, also? And what is it, that I covet? A blog site for me and my hubby!..and a few others. Do we have an ultra-exciting life? full of 007 adventure?..eh, probably not, but who knows..it may be fun for others to read. Today is the day before the calendar, schedule day of Thanks; today, we were so very thankful. As we spent the afternoon with those less fortunate, I know I was thanking God, moment by moment, for His grace and mercy on me. Why am I not in those shoes of the unfortunate? Why did God choose to be so merciful to me? I don't know. I can only say, "Thank you, Father!" and then, while I'm here, open my hands and hearts to others. Vern, also felt blessed. He felt most empathetic for the lil ones, the innocent children, but most of the children we saw today were happy and go-lucky. Ahhh, the blessed children. Tomorrow, may your day be blessed and filled with love, hope, and happiness. Amen.
